Upon arrangement by Embassy of Thailand, EMPTA had a get-to-know-you meeting with Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA) and Federation of Thai Industries’ Auto Parts Industry Club (APIC)
The meeting was held online, it was joined by EMPTA Chairman Kau Peng Yap, Assistant Secretary General Darren Wong, Committee Member Elsie Hong and Chief Administrative Officer Chai Chee Fatt.
On the Thai side were TAPMA President Sompol Tanadumrongsak and Vice President Patcharapa Kitaphanich, as well as APIC Chairman Suphot Sukphisarn. Chaiyut Boonkong and Kachamat Panklieng from Royal Thai Embassy in Malaysia were also present at the meeting.
It was the first meeting between the Malaysian and Thai counterparts. The meeting exchanged business information related to the automotive parts industry. Both sides also agreed to work together on business matching to benefit members of respective organizations.
