EMPTA works with Royal Malaysian Customs Department to address importation issues.

EMPTA’s Deputy Chairman, Tan Hang Chai, along with Committee Members Elsie Hong, Jazz Kong, and Amos Lim, alongside Chief Administrative Officer Chai Chee Fatt, participated in a productive meeting with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department yesterday. The meeting was focused on addressing importation issues related to HS codes faced by our members.

Throughout the discussion, we tackled the challenges encountered by EMPTA members in importing automotive parts and components. We exchanged insights and perspectives, striving to identify effective solutions to streamline the importation process and ensure smoother operations for our members.
