Trengthening Bilateral Ties: EMPTA Meets OIB at Automechanika Shanghai

EMPTA Chairman Kau Peng Yap and Assistant Secretary General Darren Wong had a fruitful discussion with Ugur Aslantas, Chief of Fairs and Delegations Department from the Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association (OIB), Turkiye, during the prestigious Automechanika Shanghai.

The focus of the meeting was the upcoming visit of a distinguished Turkish automotive business delegation to Malaysia in March 2024, led by OIB. Discussions delved into the comprehensive programme for the delegation, which includes engaging business matching sessions and an exploration of the bustling automotive parts district in Kuala Lumpur.

This collaborative effort between EMPTA and OIB aims to foster stronger ties between the Malaysian and Turkish automotive industries, opening doors to new opportunities and shared knowledge.
