The speaker from Milieu Solar also shared a real-case example of electricity bill savings and government incentives for expenditure on solar photovoltaic systems, including Capital Allowance and Green Investment Tax Allowance (GITA).

Moreover, the session delved into Malaysia’s National Energy Transition, discussing the country’s strategies and initiatives to embrace renewable energy sources and reduce carbon emissions. EMPTA works with Royal Malaysian Customs Department to address importation issues.

EMPTA’s Deputy Chairman, Tan Hang Chai, along with Committee Members Elsie Hong, Jazz Kong, and Amos Lim, alongside Chief Administrative Officer Chai Chee Fatt, participated in a productive meeting with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department yesterday. The meeting was focused on addressing importation issues related to HS codes faced by our members.

Throughout the discussion, we tackled the challenges encountered by EMPTA members in importing automotive parts and components. We exchanged insights and perspectives, striving to identify effective solutions to streamline the importation process and ensure smoother operations for our members.

EMPTA Chairman Celebrates 30 Years of Success with Cooltec Group of Companies.

Upon invitation from member Cooltec Industries Sdn Bhd, EMPTA Chairman Kau Peng Yap joined the joyous 30th Anniversary Dinner Cooltec Group of Companies 🎊🎈

This remarkable milestone is a testament to Cooltec’s dedication, innovation, and contributions to the automotive industry. During the dinner, Kau had the opportunity to catch up with Managing Director of Cooltec Group of Companies Yeaw Kok Kwey, who is also the President of MRPMA-Malaysia Rubber Products Manufacturers Association (MRPMA).

Other special guests met by Kau during the event were The Malaysian Automotive Component Parts Manufacturers Association (MACPMA) President Chin Jit Sin, Taipei Economic And Cultural Office In Malaysia’s Director of Economic Division James Chang, Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Director of Malaysian office Hoh Jee Eng.
