EMPTA Committee Member Elsie Hong attended a Focus Group Discussion on the Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint 2021-2030 hosted by Malaysia Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (mgtc.my).

Malaysia’s Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint aims to reduce emissions from the transportation sector, which currently ranks as the second-largest CO2 emitter in the nation after the energy sector, contributing 25% to 30% of the nation’s GHG emissions.

EMPTA committee members celebrate the 9th Anniversary of Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Trucking Association.

EMPTA Chairman Kau Peng Yap, Vice Chairman Ong Boon Wah, Secretary General Kenneth Cheng, as well as Committee Members Lim Boon Hoe and Jared Leong had the pleasure of attending the vibrant 9th Anniversary Dinner of the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Trucking Association. The event, held in celebration of another successful year, brought together industry leaders, stakeholders, and members of the trucking community.

It was an evening filled with networking opportunities and insightful discussions about the trends in the trucking industry. Our committee members were honoured to be part of the engagement with fellow professionals in the field.
