EUROCHAM Malaysia’s (formerly known as EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Head of Automotive Sector Committee Pierre Brochet as well as colleagues Cassandra Anwar and Aisyah Syahirah visited EMPTA on 13 Dec 2022. They were received by EMPTA Chairman Kau Peng Yap, Secretary General Kenneth Cheng, Assistant Treasurer Fong Koh Fu and Committee Member Elsie Hong.
During the meeting, cooperation between the two parties was explored. The discussion delved into the topics of information sharing and possibility of business matching. Both sides also exchanged views on the development trends in the automotive industry.
EUROCHAM Malaysia represents 11 business chambers and has a network of 1,600 companies, while EMPTA has more than 1,000 member companies involved in the manufacturing, distribution and retail of automotive parts.
