EMPTA successfully held a briefing on workplace risk assessment and accident prevention for members yesterday, featuring an insightful session by Ir. Tajul Ariffin Bin Mohamed Nori from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
The briefing aimed to raise awareness and understanding of workplace safety practices, particularly for companies operating warehouses, workshops, and distribution centres. Topics covered included:

Identifying potential hazards

Implementing risk control measures

Legal requirements and compliance

Best practices to prevent workplace accidents
Globally, there are 340 million workplace accidents with over 6,000 deaths and 160 million injuries annually.
We thank DOSH for their support and valuable sharing, and we appreciate the strong turnout from our members. Together, we strive to create a safer and healthier work environment across the automotive parts and services industry.
