EMPTA and SIRIM discuss briefing for EMPTA members

Selangor and Federal Territory Engineering and Motor Parts Traders’ Association (EMPTA) had a productive meeting with SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd today to discuss preparation for an upcoming briefing session on the Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicle) Order 2024.

 

Under the Order, SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd is the authority for the engine oil certification.

 

The objective of the session will be to help EMPTA members better understand the certification process and requirements under the new regulation.
