EMPTA had further discussion with KPDN and SIRIM on engine oil certification
Together with other industry representatives, EMPTA had a productive discussion with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) and SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. today to address some issues related to the Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicle) Order 2024 .
The meeting focused on certification requirements for engine oil products and stocks that had entered the market prior to the introduction of the new regulation.
We appreciate the government’s openness to engagement and the opportunity to represent the interests of our members. EMPTA will continue to work closely with the authorities to ensure a smooth transition and compliance with regulations.
