A delegation from EMPTA led by Chairman Kau Peng Yap participated in the China (Shandong)-Malaysia Economic and Trade Cooperation Symposium held in Kuala Lumpur today.
EMPTA had the opportunity to share about the topic of how to use Malaysia as a platform into the growing ASEAN automotive parts market. EMPTA Assistant Secretary General and Head of Commercial Affairs Sub-committee Darren Wong was one of the invited speakers and spoke about market conditions and business potential of the automotive parts industry.
Highlighting on the current US-China tariff situation, EMPTA welcomes Shandong business counterparts to setup healthy business joint ventures with our members here in Malaysia. Apart from participants from the business sectors, the event was also joined by joined by governmental officers from China and Malaysia, including officers from Malaysian Investment Development Authority – MIDA.
