The Malaysian Rubber Products Manufacturers’ Association (MRPMA) made a courtesy visit to EMPTA on 23 August 2022. The delegation was led by MRPMA President Yeaw Kok Kwey and received by EMPTA Chairman Kau Peng Yap, Assistant Secretary General Darren Wong, Assistant Treasurer Fong Koh Fu and Committee Member Christie Tan.
During the meeting, both sides exchange views and experience on working with stakeholders of the respective industries, including the efforts taken to address the industries’ challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
MRPMA also shared the information about the upcoming International Rubber Industry Convention and Expo 2022 which will be held at KLCC Convention Centre 6-8 September 2022.
MRPMA told that automotive parts accounted for a significant share of the manufactured rubber products.
